Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018.

This week’s prompt is supposed to be favorite novellas/short stories, but since I don’t read many of those, I decided to change the topic. I know I mainly review YA on this blog, but I am actually a huge lover of adult mysteries and thrillers. So, I wanted to share with you some of my faves!

    • The Good Daughter is super intense and graphic (I can send you trigger warnings if you want!) but I just enjoy Karin’s writing so much! There’s actually a prequel novella that I read before The Good Daughter (the name escapes me but I don’t think it’s 100% necessary to read). Let me know if you ever read it, love! 💜

  2. I also read a lot of YA but I had to read Gone Girl after the hype. Then I somehow ended up reading The Kind Worth Killing. AND IT WAS SO GOOD! Like my mouth was hanging open in surprise 98% of the time. I’m glad you liked it, too. 🙂

  5. The Good Daughter has been on my list for awhile. The only one on you’re list that I’ve read is Gone Girl and I wasn’t fan. PS: I nominated you for the Sunshine Blogger Award 🙂

      I hope you like The Good Daughter if you decide to read it! There is a short prequel novella as well. The content is really graphic so if you want a list of triggers just let me know ☺️💗
