Top Ten Tuesday: Popular Books That Lived Up to the Hype

toptentuesday

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018.

It’s no secret: I read A LOT of popular books (especially YA.) I can’t help it. I just need to know what all the hype is about. And honestly, I’ve enjoyed most of them! Below are my faves!

The above list is just my opinion; I know several of these books may have some polarizing reviews! Do you have any favorite books that were over-hyped/popular? Let me know! 🙂

  1. I agree about so many of these books! Especially ACOTAR, Vicious, Strange the Dreamer and Six of Crows. Sadly, The Cruel Prince and Children of Blood and Bone didn’t work out for me 😔

  2. I am ALMOST finished with the second book in An Ember in the Ashes! The series had been on my periphery but because the third one came out and everyone is FREAKING OUT about it I decided to read it!
Though I’m a little annoyed because I thought it was a triology, and I’ll have to go from reading all three in a matter of two weeks to waiting like A YEAR???? FOR THE NEXT ONE??? AAAAAAHHHG!
