Down the TBR Hole was created by Lost in a Story. Its purpose is to help narrow down your TBR list on Goodreads by selecting 5 or more titles each week and deciding if you want to keep it on your TBR or get rid of it! I was inspired by Melanie @ Meltotheany to start this blog series as my TBR pile is OUT OF CONTROL!
How it works:
- Go to your Goodreads to-read shelf.
- Order on ascending date added.
- Take the first 5 (or 10 if you’re feeling adventurous) books
- Read the synopses of the books
- Decide: keep it or should it go?
On the chopping block this week:
NOW YOU SEE ME BY S.J. BOLTON
This is a murder mystery which still sounds really intriguing to me!
WHEN IT RAINS BY LISA DE JONG
I don’t even remember adding this to my TBR, but it has really great reviews. I don’t think I see myself reading this within the next year, though.
THE WILL BY KRISTEN ASHLEY
Again, I don’t ever recall adding this to my TBR so I won’t be getting to this any time soon.
REMEMBER BY EILEEN COOK
I have always adored Eileen Cook’s writing so I’d like to keep this on my TBR for a rainy day.
BEAUTY QUEENS BY LIBBA BRAY
I have a love/hate relationship with Libba Bray. I loved The Diviners but not its sequel, Lair of Dreams. I think I’ll reluctantly keep this one (for now.)
WHY CAN’T I BE YOU BY ALLIE LARKIN
Allie Larkin’s first book, Stay, really warmed my heart and I’ve adored her ever since. She’s also such a delight to follow on facebook. I am definitely keeping her book on my shelf!
Thanks for taking a look at my TBR! Please feel free to recommend what books I should add (or remove) from my TBR! You can go here to view my to-read shelf, or here to add me as a friend on Goodreads! 🙂
