Hello, friends! I know it’s already the first week of the new year but I still wanted to quickly mention these books I finished in December 2018!
In December I co-hosted TistheSeasonAThon and I completed all the challenges by finishing three books. They are included in my wrap up below. I had such a wonderful time interacting with everyone who participated. Seriously, seeing your daily vlogs, photo challenges, and twitter sprints made my heart so full! And thank you to everyone who tuned in to our live show on Heather’s (Bookables) YouTube channel! It was my first live show so I was a tad awkward, but I hope you’ll give it a watch if you have time! π I can’t wait to host this readathon again in 2019.
I also, sadly, DNF a book which was an anticipated release for me. I’m not happy with that decision, and I may revisit it again in the near future when I’m in a better head space for that genre. I feel like this is a “me” problem. I was getting burnt out toward the end of the year and just was not in a YA fantasy mood anymore, so I fell into slump-territory. Don’t you just hate that!?
Okay, enough of my rambling! I know I said I was going to make this quick but apparently I lied. LOL.

How did you like the artwork of the Cassandra Clare graphic novels? I’ve been wanting to see them in person before I purchase them online.

Thanks, Kayla! The art is ok. It wasnβt my absolute favorite art but overall I liked how condensed the TMI story was and it highlighted all the important parts! Xx

I’m glad that it was condensed, that would be a long manga lol! I just picked this up at my library last week!

Ooh, I’m so glad you liked The Gilded Wolves, Amy! I mostly saw positive things before but I’ve been seeing a few more negative/meh things about it now, and I’m really excited to read it haha! And I hope you have a lot of fun at Disney!! β€

Thank you, May! The Gilded Wolves has amazing characters which I think youβll love! The whole heist/plot wasnβt my absolute fave but the characters really took the spotlight. I hope you enjoy! β€οΈβ€οΈβ€οΈ
